Consul General of India, Harvinder Singh, visited G/PD S. Kulatillake Vidyalaya in the Ambalangoda Education Zone on July 9, 2025, to review the progress of the Smart Classroom project established under the assistance of the Government of India. The project, implemented under the guidance and supervision of the Southern Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Ministry of Education, aims to set up 200 smart classrooms across the Southern Province.

During his visit, 20 tablet computers were handed over to the school to further enhance the digital learning experience. Mr. Singh commended the students’ active engagement with new technology in their learning activities.
