We proudly state that Sri Lanka is leading in the field of education amongst the top countries in the commercial hierarchy. It is an undeniable reality that the Southern Province has gained a boost in the field of education. The significant index to prove that fact is the G.C.E O/ L performances of the province. The contribution of the Provincial Ministry, Provincial Department

of Education, and the Zonal Education Offices should be mentioned on accomplishing the remarkable achievement of the G C E O/L performances of the province.

The internet has turned into one of the leading information sources among the  new sources of the new world of technology.

The effort which the Provincial Department of Education has taken should be appreciated in launching a new website assembling all the Zonal Establishments of Education. Thus, anyone can access to the information of the field of education quite easily and quickly.
